It’s been a good amount of years since I left my buying and fashion merchandising career behind, but there is so much that I miss about it. The other downfall of stepping away from working in retail, is losing the fantastic discount I took such great advantage of. From these two thoughts I’ve brainstormed a few ideas to feel just a little more creative outside of my day to day.
The idea is to do a weekly blog post with my favorite things I’ve found throughout the week. I obsessively check Nordstrom, Shopbop, Revolve, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, among other retailers, so why not put all that searching to good use? There’s literally nothing more therapeutic to me than scrolling through the new arrivals and adding to my hearts/faves/wishlist… closet… etc.
Then, every couple of months, go back through my picks and purchase a few. This way I make sure I really love that item before impulsively buying… which I am oh so good at currently.
Maybe the only person who will love all these items is me, but there’s just a chance, you might find something you love as well. Cheers to new beginnings and retail therapy!
I love wearing white and am on the hunt for the perfect white blouse that I can wear to work or out or wherever. These are a few contenders, but I’m not sure if I’ve exactly found THE ONE yet.
I want these in every wash. I bought my first pair a few months ago and want to only wear these Levi’s exclusively for the rest of my life.

Where I am good with sunglasses, I am notoriously hard on shoes. Not sure why. Maybe because I walk fast? Whatever the reason, I am super hesitant to pull the trigger on designer shoe purchases. I own one pair of Valentino Rockstuds, totally worth it, but, have so far talked myself out of any other expensive shoes. With that being said, I am absolutely obsessed with Malone Souliers currently. I feel like these nude heels would be a wonderful staple in my wardrobe.

I read about this mascara on some blog somewhere. I’m nervous to pull the trigger because I’ve never heard of it before beyond this one instance. Is it a diamond in the rough that is just waiting to be a household name mascara or is it only this one person that actually likes it? I would love to hear if anyone has ever tried it before.

Some Things I Did Buy This Week
I’m always on the hunt for good SPF lip stuff. The smell/flavor(?) of this lip balm from SUPERGOOP! is unbelievable. It’s so subtle and I say flavor, but it’s not even really a flavor. It’s an essence maybe? Whatever. It’s perfect and just like that I have a new lip balm of choice. My hubs loves it too.
